Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family!
In Scouting, boys and girls start with their best right now selves and grow into their very best future selves. It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.

SCOUT LAW
A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.
SCOUT OATH
On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
Why Join Cub Scouting?
• If you could give only one gift to the young people who are most important in your life, what would it be? No matter what your family situation is, it is within your power to help these children grow into people with a good feeling about themselves and a genuine concern for others.
• Cub Scout-age children benefit developmentally from belonging to a small group of peers. Your child will be a part of a den, a small group of Cub Scouts in the same grade level and who are of the same gender. Through this sense of belonging, children build self-esteem and learn to get along with others.
• As a parent, you want to be assured that the groups that your child joins will teach values consistent with good citizenship, character development, personal fitness, and leadership. The values we seek to instill are found in the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

Getting Started...

When is a good time to get started?
A Program for Boys & Girls in Grades K-5
Cub Scouts is a year-round program designed for boys & girls in grades K to five. The program offers fun and challenging activities that promote character development, citizenship training and physical fitness. Cub Scouting helps parents become even better moms and dads.
New Scouts can begin anytime of the year. Just contact our Cubmaster or the Den Leader in your age group - or, just show up at one of our meetings.
When do we meet?
Cub Scout Pack 213 meets every first 3 Thursdays during the school year at Oxford Presbyterian Church at 7pm. Pack 213 offers a year-round program for boys and girls so check back often to see what we have on tap for the summer.
